The reason I’ve stayed with Victor’s agency for that amount of time is because of all the fantastic customer service and follow up. My vehicle and accidents have always been taken care of in perfect order. I just had a homeowner’s claim from a burst pipe during the freezing weather that was handled specifically by their office with the claims department on my behalf. "First off, let me say I’ve always made it a point to support small, local businesses—but only the ones that operate with basic ethics and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I reached out to this State Farm agency just to get a quote, nothing more. I never gave permission to start a policy. Yet somehow, two weeks later, I receive a welcome packet and declaration page in the mail. Naturally, I was confused and immediately called the agent. I told him there must’ve been some mistake—because I never authorized any policy. He apologized, claimed he would “take care of it,” and told me to disregard the letter. Fast forward another couple of weeks, and now my mortgage company is reaching out, saying they paid State Farm from my escrow account. That’s when I realized this was way more serious. I called the agent again, and he tells me the policy was cancelled, but it just takes 15 days to update in the system. That was a lie. I called State Farm’s 1-800 number myself and spoke to a representative who confirmed the policy was never canceled and is still active. Meanwhile, my escrow account is now overdrawn because of a policy I never asked for, never agreed to, and never signed off on. It took me getting corporate involved just to get this resolved. This entire situation has caused me stress, financial issues, and wasted time—all because this agent took it upon himself to start a policy without my consent. I’m warning others—stay far away from this agent. His shady and unprofessional business practices are unethical at best, and flat-out fraudulent at worst. In my opinion, someone like this shouldn’t even be allowed to hold an insurance license. If you value honesty, transparency, and proper consent—find a more ethical agent."
